This week the weather was really nice so we decided to go to the park and hang out one day. Braden got to have lunch at the park it was alot of fun. Braden also got to go to the zoo for the first time, we got to go with my friend Shaina and her lil girl Isabella born 2 days earlier then Braden.

This week Braden has learned to stick his tongue out and to control his head alil more. He still hates tummy time with a passion....I actually got a video of the fit that he throws after he realized he is on his tummy lol. I cant believe that my lil guy was 12 weeks last week, he turns 3 months old on the 21st. I didn't get too many pictures last week but the ones I did get are really cute. He still hates tummy time with a passion and throws a huge fit when put on his tummy, he would rather be held all the time :)

Braden loved his old swing but sadly it did not work, so the only way it would swing is if Chris or I would manually push it. Which as you can imagine got very tiring :)

Braden had his 2 month checkup this past Thursday. He was 13lbs. 3oz. and 23 inches long. The doctor said he is gonna probably be a big boy. He also got the first of his immunizations, he cried alil but then he was fine, he did a good job.

A lot has happened this last week when Braden turned 7 weeks old. He had his first smile caught on camera. He is getting more and more control of his head and can hold it up a little better and flail it around pretty good also lol. He has worn a couple of new oufits that he finally fit into now. I cant believe how fast he is growing and how quickly time has gone by.

The first weekend after New Year's we decided to take a trip to Utah to visit my sister and her family so they could all see Braden. The drive was insanely long with all the stops for feedings, pumpings, gas and food. I have decided that I was totally insane and will never do that again with a baby that is not on solids or formula yet lol.

We had a nice visit with everyone and of course everyone wanted to hold Braden all the time. We mostly hung around Logan, UT where my sister lives.

When Braden turned 4 weeks old I wanted to have some pictures taken. A friend of ours that has a lil studio took the pics for us....they turned out awesome. He looks so grown up and once he spit up was very cooperative with the picture taking :)

I can't believe that Braden is 3 weeks old already. He has gotten so big, grew out of his newborn clothes, almost grown out of his newborn diapers (trying to use the last ones up before he does). He is starting to be more awake during the day but still loves to sleep. We have found out that he absolutely hates his bassinet....he prefers his playpen with the boppy in there to sleep on. He wasn't so sure about the tummy time the first time I put him on his tummy but now he loves it he spends all day on his tummy :) He is also starting to get a lil colic which is no fun for me especially at night when i am trying to get my 2 hours of sleep in lol....oh the joys of motherhood :)

On Monday the 23rd Braden and I were discharged and got to come home....although it was nice being in a hospital where everything was delivered to me after pushing a button :). Poor lil Braden was circumcised that morning also I felt so bad for him, the nurse said he did really good though only cried a lil.

On Saturday November 21st 2009 our little man Braden Parker made his arrival @ 10:29pm, he was 8lbs 2oz and 19 inches long.

That morning I had a feeling that my water had broken but I wasn't having contractions at the time so I called my Dr. to see if they wanted me to go into the hospital. When I got there they did tests and did confirm that my water had indeed broken so I was admitted at this time, luckily I had my bag and mostly everything already packed in my trunk lol.

My labor was pretty uneventful (other than my 1st epidural not working so I have to have a 2nd one done) it was just long and tiring. I ended having to push for 2 hours and wanted to give up and be done halfway through the pushing but the nurse and doctor wouldn't let me lol.

After Braden was delivered Chris did really well. He cut the umbilical cord (never really thought he would do that lol ), followed the baby and took pics, held the babies hand (before he was cleaned of lol ), and actually held the baby after he was all cleaned up. It was really cute watching him with Braden at first.

37 week update......

On Monday I went to the Dr. for my now weekly appts till Braden comes. The baby is doing great the heart rate was at 159 and he is moving like crazy, hardly ever stays still. My dr. said that he was gonna do an exam @ my 38 week appt to see if I was doing anything, of course I asked if he could do it that day cause I was going insane wondering if the baby was doing anything since I had been having som aches and pains. After he checked he determined that I was 1cm dilated, thinned, and that he could feel the Braden's head. He said that he is wondering if I am even gonna make it to my due date on Nov. 30th....I of course would love Braden to come a lil early as I am very eager to hold him and have him out.....Chris on the other hand is now very nervous/terrified that my body is actually progressing toward the baby being born lol

It has been a while since I have put a prego pic up. Here is me at 35 weeks (almost 36 weeks) baby is doing great I go in for my next ultrasound on Monday. He moves all the time never giving me a break :) I have 32 days left before the little guy is supposed to make his arrival.

Well this morning when Chris and I woke up there was a dusting of snow on the ground and it has continued to keep flurrying. Of course I was excited I love snow (mostly when I am inside with my coffee and a book lol) Chris on the otherhand doesn't like it so much (due to the coldness of it). So I am totally excited to watch the little flurries come down, another reason I am excited for snow is cause it means that it is getting closer to when the baby is due. I am so tired of being pregnant and uncomfortable, most people say that you glow when pregnant I do not recal any glowing going on lol, oh well @ least I can sit and relax and watch the pretty snow come down :)

Sorry it has been awhile since my last prego pic that I have put up. Well it is at the 30 week mark, I feel huge and the baby never stops moving I dont know when he sleeps lol. I am slowly getting the baby room ready and as soon as it is picture worthy I will get some pics up of his room. We have finally picked a name for the baby it is Braden Parker. Other than being busy being prego I am still working although I am not sure just how much longer that will be going on lol it is getting harder for me to waddle at work. It is getting cold in Denver, fall is definitly on the way, sad thing is that fall is my favorite season but unfortunetly I dont have any cold weather prego clothes and my jackets dont fit anymore either due to the big prego belly that I have lol might have to go and do a lil shopping even though I will only be prego for 2 months out of the fall season.

Me standing in the water it was freezing, and a knife got washed up after one of the waves :( I was like where in the world did that come from...

So last week Chris and I went to Cali to visit family and friends since we cant travel for the holidays due to the baby coming right after Thanksgiving. On the way out to Cali we got to stay with one of my friends in St. George that I havent gotten to see in ever it was fun. After visiting his family in Hanford we visited one of his friends in Pismo, played around alittle @ Avila beach. Chris showed my around SLO where he went to college after getting lost a few times we found where he used to live with his friend we were visiting :) After pismo we went to Bako for a few days to visit my family and friends out there, it was great seeing everyone, on Sat we had the baby shower for me since one of my friends wanted to throw me one. It was fun,being the only baby shower I have ever been too lol, we played games, ate snacks, and opened presents...it was small since alot of my friends couldnt make it due to work but still fun. Then it was time for the long drive back to Denver. There were lots of fires on the way back made the sky all yellow and dreary looking :( it did not make me wanna stop for gas and get out of the car lolol

Well my tummy is definitely starting to get bigger....I am enjoying the fact that I am starting to look prego instead of just fat lol other people can actually tell that I am prego now :) The baby is kicking and moving tons...Chris got to feel a kick the other day..normally the baby stops moving when chris trys to feel I was excited for hime to feel the baby move....his response what "it was weird" lolol So other than the fact that I cant sleep @ night due to leg cramps, having to pee all the time and the baby deciding he is nocturnal the pregnancy is going great lol

So the day after my ultrasound Chris and I went on a trip to Buena Vista. Chris went white water rafting with his friend and brother...and since I was 21 weeks preggo I couldnt go so I was a lil bored while they were gone but I had my books to keep me company. Normally I love to go camping and hiking but I quickly found out that it is no fun to go camping while preggo...first every movement on the air mattress wakes both chris and I up....and since I have to pee like every 5 min having to walk in the dark is no fun (made chris go with me lol ). Sadly Chris friend wanted to go on a big hike and I was like "ok I will be in the car" lol I cant be going on huge hikes and high elevations......so we went on a couple little ones...overall it was a fun trip even though I got like no sleep it was nice to be back in my own bed and a shower.

well on Wed. we went to the doctor to get the ultrasound done for the baby.....and we have a sex....it is a boy :) sadly chris only had a girls name picked out so now we are on the hunt for a boy name...if anyone has any suggestions feel free to let me know, I will be putting up the ultrasound pics as soon as I download them from the camera.

yesterday chris and I went for a drive since I got rid of one of my shifts....we passed a parking lot that had a lot of cars in it, turns out it was a trail head so we decided to go for alittle hike...we walked over a little river....passed a old homestead from 1865....and up the mesa trail for a bit. It was nice not too hot little overcast so no sunburns this time :)

Well this week I am at the 17 week mark 4 more weeks till I get to find out what I am having. As soon as I find out what I am having I can finally start buying stuff and decorating :) my baby is the size of an onion right now and I am finally getting a pic up of my growing belly.....I will be doing one every week hopefully so that I have a memory of each week also :)

Chris is still a little freaked out about the coming baby especially when I started making a list of names.....lol....oh well hopefully he will get better

About a month ago Chris and I went to Utah to visit my sister and her hubby and little baby.....I finally got chris to hold the baby and it was adorable....I cant wait to see him with our little one. The trip was fun we went down to Salt lake City to walk around....we went to temple square just to look around Chris had never been and wanted to see what it was like....the flowers were very pretty and they were everywhere....so since we were at temple square we took a pic in front of it for the heck of it lolol :)

My adorable little baby is busy with thumb sucking, toe wiggling, and (not so cute but equally amazing) making urine and breathing amniotic fluid as the liver, kidneys and spleen continue to develop. Lanugo (thin, downy hair) is growing all over the body for warmth.

I can not wait for my little baby to get bigger I am so anxious to know what I am having, July 22nd just seems so far away :)

So one morning I decided to take a prego test cause I was late.....and the result was two little lines :) Today I went to my first dr. appt for an ultrasound and there is the little kiddo (the kidney bean in the pic) the dr says that I am about 6weeks along, which was 2 weeks earlier than I thought I was...I thought I was 8 weeks but oh well at least the dr said everything looks good :) We are totally excited!!!!!!

Another great thing that happened yesterday was that I finally found out that I passed my state boards and have my CA license I am a RN :) now all I need to do is switch it over to CO so that I can start looking for a job which we need really bad right now....I couldnt stop smiling all day yesterday. It was very nerveracking waiting to see if you passed the hardest test of your lifetime :)

Okay so I am sitting on the couch Friday night hanging out with Chris when the doorbell goes off....so I answer it and it is a flower delivery person with some little roses for me I was totally surprised. First of all Chris cant keep a secret for anything so I was really amazed that he kept this one I had no idea that the flowers were coming :) lol after I was alittle mad cause I would have gotten him flowers but he had said no flowers to help save money lolol oh well I love my flowers

On the actual Valentines day we decided to go out for a brunch instead of dinner (since it is always busy lol) So Chris took me to a little eatery downtown....there was a long wait when we got there but it was really cute inside and the food was really good as well :)

Well Chris and I decided to go on another hike yesterday. We decided to go to the other end of Castlewood Canyon this time......unfortunately for us it had been warmer the past few weeks since the last time we went and snow had melted, which meant lots of mud :( Sadly the amount of mud that we ran into cut the hike short we decided that we would come back later in the spring when the mud is gone :) There was a cave that we wanted to hike up too...but the trail was very muddy and icy and it went straight up....which scared us alittle since Chris had already fallen on his butt lolol I tried to save hime but it didnt work.

First hike of 2009......

Well today Chris and I decided to go for a hike since it was only gonna be 57degrees and sunny....which is pretty warm compared to what it has been....we decided to go to Castlewood canyons state park. We combined about 3 different trails and hiked about 6 miles today it was a ton of fun.....we hiked over snow, ice, mud pocket, rocks, trees, and frozen streams. I got so hot in the beginning of the hike I took my jacket off and hiked in my t-shirt. Chris had fun although he was very tired by the end of it some of those hills were pretty steep :)

Lets see....first off I got a wild hair up my but and cut my hair off, the lady and the salon measured it and I ended up cutting off 10inches it was a little sad to see all my hair getting swept away, but I love my new haircut (it is a little shorter than I wanted in the back but it will grow and it still looks cute).....second I take my boards a week from tomorrow which i am really nervous about since I have been sick lately so i havent felt like doing practice questions which I really need to be doing.

So if you wanna leave an honest opinion about my hair go for it :) .....I like comments

Well today I went and bought a tree since I was feeling better.....when I got home Chris helped get it out of the car (which has sap and pine needles all over the trunk now lol)...we then put it in the stand and Chris (with very little coercing) helped decorate it with lights and bulbs :) and this is the result I think it looks awesome :)

After I graduated Chris and I did our final drive back from California to Denver, we decided to take a different route this time so that he could visit his friends that lived in Arizona. While we were in Arizona the only thing that Chris wanted to do is to get his pic taken with a big cactus lol so we definitely made sure that happened....he was so happy it was cute. After we left Phoenix we took a drive through Sedona....cause Chris and I have always wanted to see it.....it was stinking cold there but pretty with all the red rocks :) While we were in Phoenix Chris got to sit on his friends motorcycle....he was so cute lol

Graduation.......

On December 11th 2008 was my pinning ceremony/graduation from the nursing program. The past two years (that I was in the program) have been especially hard for me........mostly due to the fact that I had to be away from my hubby for most of that time only being able to come home in between the semester. Nursing school is very stressful and hard enough with out adding new stressful events to it. Well I finally got through it there were lots of tears throughout the last two years, whether it was due to stress of classes and 50% finals lol or cause I missed my hubby and wanted to come home. I made lots of friends during school most of who I hope we can stay in touch with for a long time. I will miss them alot. I feel like the last two years have flown by especially this last semester, at times (99.9%) I feel that I did was go to class, clinic, and then study, which in reality that is all that I did.....you have no life during nursing school so you have to make your own fun which we did....you can see some of the fun we had in the slideshow I will put up. If I had it all to do over again, yes there would be some things that I would do different but I wouldn't have given up this experience for anything.....many of you that know me now that I have wanted to be a nurse forever (alot to do with my mom).....all I need is my state license but I am finally a nurse!!!!!!

Ok so it is Monday the week of Thanksgiving......I took my 4th exam in my critical care nursing class and got a "B" on it which it totally acceptable to me this semester....I have learned to chill a bit and to accept B's :) So after I took the test I proceeded to drive up to Sacramento so that I can catch a flight out to Denver where I get to spend this lovely Thanksgiving week. I am so excited to be going home for a week and getting to see Chris and my friends that are there. I get to do alot of fun stuff this week...although I do need to study some also cause as soon as I get back next week I have a test in leadership and then the next week is finals week....and then GRADUATION!!!!!! if you cant tell I am very excited about that I am so ready to be done :)

Ok so the pic really doesnt have any purpose to my blog but I think it is hilarious so hopefully whoever actually reads my blog will get a chuckle lolol :)

sorry it has been along time since I posted anything.....it has been insanely busy with school :) Finals are fastly approaching getting alittle worried about them. This week is my last week in my ICU rotation...surprisingly I actually like my ICU rotation I didnt think I was gonna like it when the rotation started, all those tubes and lines going to the patient and the patients are really sick. But I do enjoy it. Like last Friday we had to call a code blue on my patient and I got to do chest compressions and push medication during the code.....it was very busy in the room is the easy way to put it :) I might actually wanna work as an ICU nurse after I get alittle experience first.....well I will try to be better about posting.

Well today at 1pm I have to go and take my baby boards (practice nclex exam) for school. Only that it is worth 19% of my grade in the class so to get an "A" I would have to get 72% or higher, which may seem like a low percentage to achieve but with this type of a test getting that high of a percentage it very hard to do.....these questions are very hard.....I am very worried about taking the test today, I have been doing tons of practice questions and as soon as my coffee is done brewing I will be doing some more this morning :) I so look forward to the day after my pinning ceramony when I can burn my nursing school uniform into a little pile of ashes, good thing my apt in Denver has a fireplace lololol

On 9/24/08 my friend Sara had her baby and I got to go and see him (I am very baby hungry right now) lol I was so happy that they let me hold him, so I had her hubby take a couple of pics. The baby is so stinking adorable, I am so happy for them :)

Denver or Bust......

So this Friday I get to go back home to Denver for a visit. I am so excited to get to hang out with my hubby I have missed him terribly, so much that I have contemplated leaving the nursing program. But we talked about it and decided that it was time for me to make a trip out so I can get my hubby fix :)

So I finally got my test scores from my test on Monday....I am relieved to say that I did alot better than I was expecting. I got a B on the test which is really good since alot of the class didnt pass it although I honestly thought that I was gonna be one of those who didnt pass. After my class I talked with my teacher about the way I was studying to see if I could do anything different or better she said that how I was studying was really good, although I might be going more into detail than need, which I tend to do cause I never know what I need to know for testing purposes. I will be very glad when school is over and done with I am so done with school.

So on Monday the 15th I had my first test in my Critical care nursing class, I dont know if it was having the summer off or what but that seemed like the hardest test I have taken since I started the nursing program. Which has me worried since I didnt feel like I did very well on it :( I am still awaiting the grades to be posted so I will let you all know when I know what I got. I will be so happy when the next 12 weeks are over and I can go home.....unfortunetly the next 12 weeks will be even more stressful...so please excuse any future rants about school. Ranting is such a good stress reliever :)

4th semester of nursing school.......

So on Monday I started the 4th semester of my nursing program which happens to be my last and I am already stressed out lol. There is so much to do and they expect you to know so much it is very stressful. I have been in Bakersfield since Sunday night and I have only been home to my apt to sleep and I dont even get to sleep till like 11pm every night and I am up by 5-6am every morning. I seriously think that I should start injecting myself with caffeine lolol......this pic is totally how I feel and this semester is only gonna get worse :( I will keep you all posted :)

Chris has needed a new computer for a while so he finally purchased one. We had to wait two weeks for it to be delivered....it came in a huge box and the tower is alot bigger than either one of us had expected lol it is huge :) I took some pics of Chris hooking it up he was so happy that he got his new computer I was happy for him he deserves it. I had fun with the packing peanuts lol I was putting them on his head :)

Well today is my birthday and I am turning 28 :( man do i feel old. Today Chris and I are pretty much relaxing and chillin and cleaning the apartment. Funny thing about getting older birthdays seem to loose the "we have to do something big feel" lol......I did get to do some fun stuff though. Yesterday Chris and I went to the movies for my birthday we saw Mamma Mia I loved it although I dont think Chris felt the same was consifering it was a chick flick and a musical lolol :) I got a new camera for my b-day it is really nice I like it. I have already used it :) I didnt get a birthday cake but Chris did something cute he put a candle in a cookie for me to blow out :)

So last night Chris and I were watching The Dog Whisperer when it started to rain....we were both excited cause it hasn't rained as much as it did last summer.....so about 30 later we look out the window and notice that there is a little river by my car in the parking lot so Chris goes outside to see how high the little river is.....he came back inside to inform me that the parking lot is flooded and there are cars that are halfway under the water of course I didnt believe him so I want out to look (it was still downpouring at this time) and he was not lying :( We walked around our building it was flooded everywhere and it was bad so I snapped some pics......as it turns out where our cars were parked was the only place that was not flooded...... boy was I lucky cause you know that some of the cars that were halfway under that the water was going under the doors, alarms were going off cause of the water also, cars were smoking that were trying to drive through the water....ok I am sorry if I saw the parking lot under water would you really try to drive through it???

So you all know that we had a pipe break in the wall of our closet...well after it taking a week to get fixed completely with the drywall having to dry and to repaint I am less than impressed at how it looks now that it is done :( ......it is not a very good job but i made sure to take pics cause I dont wanna get charged for it when we move......

Breaking Dawn.....

So yesterday was August 2nd and I went to go and get my copy of Breaking Dawn I am totally thrilled to start reading it....unfortunately I once I start reading it I will not be able to put it down...so I need to make sure that I dont have anything planned for a bit before I start reading it.....I was also thrilled to find out that it is the thickest one out of the series YIPEE!!!!!!!

I was also very happy to notice when I went to get my book that there was a huge difference in the type of people buying the book.....I am always worried that it is gonna be me and then a huge bunch of kids lol.....but it is amazing how many adults like these books also. Stephanie Meyers is an awesome writer :)

Suprise Swimming Pool

So I was hanging up clothes in the closet last night and the carpet felt wet, so I asked Chris if he had walked in the closet after his shower...he said no....so then I started investigating and I realized that the carpet was sopping wet. So this morning when we woke up I called the maintenance men to come figure out where the water was coming from. They ended up cutting a big hole in our wall to find out where it was coming from. After I emptied our closet out I noticed that the water was coming from a pipe in the wall by the ceiling...the wall was all wet where the water had dripped.

Yellowstone and Montana Trip...

This past week Chris and I went on a trip with his parents we went to Yellowstone and up to Missoula Montana to visit his family. I had never been to Yellowstone before and when Chris suggested that we go with his parents I said ok....It was alot of fun lol the geysers were awesome the pools were so many different colors. We stayed at the Old Faithful Inn it was like staying in a log cabin, other than the light switches in the rooms there was no electricity...the rooms only had a sink in it so we had to go to the community bathroom and showers when we needed to use it....it was alittle annoying when you had to go in the middle of the night :) But right outside our window was Old Faithful :) We only spent one day at the park but we walk many trails and saw many awesome things....as the day was ending I was getting sad cause I hadn't seen any bison yet and as we were coming around a corner we saw one on the side of the road. Later on one of the trails there was a bison like ten feet away from up it was kinda scary.

When we were in Montana we went out to dinner to some cool places. We went to Garnet ghost town it was really cool cause you can go into the buildings unlike Bodie where everything was behind plexi-glass. We also went to Fort Missoula but it really sucked it was really stupid and boring. We ended up staying up an extra day cause one of Chris' relatives flew in and we went up to his house to have pizza and stuff.

Rocky Mountain National Park......

On Monday Chris and I went to Rocky Mountain National Park with the in-laws :) We took the scenic route through Estes Park and that we took another scenic route on Trailridge road through the park.....is was really pretty the road took you all the way up to 12,161 feet, there aren't even any trees up there cause it is too high....Chris and I got winded alot on our little hike due to the low oxygen level :( but it was fun. We saw little glaciers on our little hike as well. The drive took a really long time though I dont think any of us was expecting that...on our way out of the park we saw a whole bunch of people parked on the side of the road so we figured that there were probably deer there so we stopped to look.....well it wasnt deer there were some moose standing in the water eating grass so I snatched a pic of one. We were all tired by the end of the drive we just went to Hooters for some buffalo wings and then off to bed.

4th of July BBQ

Yesterday Chris and I had a BBQ for the 4th of July. It was fun a couple of our friends came over and we went to the store and got food and beer :) We had jalapeno poppers that our friend made, we had kabobs and corn on the cob....the kabobs were huge and tasted really yummy. We played some card games, Chris friend Travis showed him some wrestling moves also ( it was hilarious ), hung out at the hot tub (where our friend accidentally picked up somebody elses shirt ) We had a blast even though alot of people that we invited didnt show up.

New Orleans Trip......

Chris got sent to New Orleans from 6/30-7/3 for work and he took me with him since neither of us had ever been. New Orleans was fun I got to see alot of cool stuff.....Sadly I could only go and see where I could walk to and I could only walk to the French Quarter and the Riverwalk ( walked like 4 hours everyday I was tired ). The French Quarter had alot of cool and old buildings, and it is right up against the Mississippi River ( which is a very dirty river ). The Riverwalk was a cool little mall that ran right against the river I got to see alot of barges and stuff :) The first night there we went to a brewery in the French Quarter but it wasnt really good at all.....the second night and third we went to Gordon Beirsch brewery it was really good the food was good and the beer was really good :) There was a Pharmacy museum of the first pharmacist in new orleans I really wanted to go see it but it wasnt open at all during the time I was there :(

I did decide that New Orleans is not for me at all, it is too hot and humid, I hate humidity. You walk outside in the morning and like 7am and your clothes just instantly stick to you. It rains and it doesnt evaporate off of you or the ground cause of the humidity....YUCK!!!

Well Chris got sent to New Orleans for work this week till the 3rd of July...this morning I was finishing up the packing for him when he said that I should come with him, I thought he was kidding so I was like "ok go and look up a flight" low and behold he was not and I am sitting at the airport waiting for my flight. Chris was supposed to leave on a earlier one but her re-booked so that he could be on the same flight as me. I have never been to New Orleans this should be fun....I will definitely put up some pics of the trip when i get back on the 4th of July :)

Flaming Gorge Trip!!!!!

This past weekend I went on a camping trip with my sister and her in-laws in Flaming Gorge. We were there for about two days it was a trip my sister planned for her husbands birthday. It was fun...we had campfires... smores....played games...and went hiking and water rafting...and fishing. My sister and I didnt go rafting since she recently found out that she is pregnant and she didnt want to go rafting since rafting could be really bumpy so we went on a hiking trail that goes beside the river....needless to say I forgot about my antibiotic side effects and even though i put lots of sunscreen on I forgot that it makes me more sensitive to the sun and I got a pretty good sunburn in a little bit of time :(

I wish Chris could have gone with me but he had to work this last weekend....it would have been so much fun if he could have gone also I missed him alot that weekend.

Red Rocks Park...

Today Chris and I decided to go on a hike in Red Rocks Park, we also checked out the amphitheater while we were there. The hike was really fun luckily it wasn't as hot as it was yesterday. The rock formations were awesome....I thought the hike was just gonna be a little easy one but it was a killer at the end it was a lot steeper than it looked lol. I will definetly be sore tomorrow...but I think that Chris will be alittle more sore than I will be lol it was so much fun I think that Chris and I will make this a weekly thing going on hikes...so make sure you keep checking my blog :)

The amphitheater looks really cool I think it would be fun to watch a concert there :)

So I have pre-ordered my copy of Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyers....I have been looking forward to this book since I finished the 3rd one. I am also very much looking forward to the Twilight movie that is coming out in December. Stephanie Meyer is one of my favorite author, she writes so vividly that you can totally picture what she is writing about :)

Her new book The Host was awesome i finished that one as fast as I could...I didnt want to but I made it last two days for my husband who tends to get alittle upset when I finish a book in like a couple of hours....lol.....it was very hard to put it down :)

Well Chris and I went on our first hike of the summer, it was near the Red rocks it was a fun little hike although I do wanna do a big hike before the summer is over :) Hiking is so fun and I am a picture addict :)

Yippee it is the summer school is out and I passed my 3rd semester of nursing school, which has a reputation of having the highest fail rate. I am looking forward to having fun over the summer and enjoying myself before I have to go back for fall semester.

First Anniversary...

On April 21, 2008 Chris and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary together :) My first surprise was that Chris surprised me with a flight out to see him that weekend since I am out if California finishing up my school. That was the best present anyone could get. Chris and I had been wanting a video camera for some time now so that our memories are kept. So we bought one that weekend we just considered it Chris' present since he flew me out...lol.... then Chris surprised the crap out of me by buying me a laptop (which I needed) I have the best hubby in the world!!!!!!
